Greetings fellow Gamers:

My name is Francisco (Xicoph), I’m the Vice President of Andes Studio and current Creative Director and Lead Mechanics designer for project Magallanes, our maiden development.

This will be the first of many Creative Director Letters with the purpose of letting you know the process of this and future projects our studio will be working on.

Andes Studio was born about a year ago from the desire of three brothers to work together in creating video games that we would like to see and play on a daily basis, with unique mechanics, illustration, music and non predatory monetization.

With the latest restructuration of the studio all of our focus has been centered on refining the core mechanics, lore, animation and music of project Magallanes, a mobile Deck Building, RPG, Roguelike game focused in character development and crafting of not only your deck but your cards as well. We don’t want to give everything right away, but  I want to share with you today one of the sketches from our talented Illustrator Alejandro, this is The Sleeper, one of our bosses and the one we are currently working for our mechanics prototype:

Alejandro has been working relentlessly to bring The Sleeper to life with some basic animations and other illustrations touches.
